Guidelines for applicants
This document contains detailed information about the application procedure. We strongly advise you to read it before starting to fill in the Application Form.
Application procedure
The Erasmus Mundus Joint Master Degree PlantHealth recruits up to 30 well-motivated students from all over the world.
The very best candidates for the PlantHealth intake 3 (2018/2020) will receive an Erasmus Mundus scholarship!
The application process is extremely selective and only the best candidates will be admitted to the programme.
Application to the EMJMD PlantHealth programme is made with the online application form.
Application Form
This online form expects to be an easy and simple way to prepare your application, allowing you to introduce progressively the details and information required.
You must start creating your new user by choosing your new USER-NAME and PASSWORD, and indicating your email address.
The Application Form should be filled in English, as well as all the attached documents (unless otherwise indicated in specific documents in section “documents upload” of the online application) so that all the host institutions may be able to analyse the submitted proposal.
Before starting to fill in the Application Form, you must be sure of having all the certificates and language skills required to attend the Master Course. We also strongly advise you to read the Guidelines for Applicants before starting.

Please note that incomplete applications will not be taken into consideration. Read carefully the list of documents and make sure you attached everything to your application, including translations. NO DOCUMENT may be sent by post or email at that stage.
If an applicant submits more than one application, the system will automatically consider the most recent one.
You will receive an automatic email after submission of your application, confirming that it has been successfully sent.

Please note that only Students candidating for the first round have the possibility to apply for Erasmus Mundus scholarships. |

There is just one selection procedure for both years of PlantHealth. When selected, students are admitted to first year (=M1) and the second year (= M2), that are inseparable – under the condition of passing all the exams from the first year. Students thus cannot be directly admitted to the PlantHealth M2 without the interrelated M1.

Application to an Erasmus Mundus Scholarship
Application to the Erasmus Mundus Scholarship is made through the online application tool during the regular application to the PlantHealth Programme.
Non-EU and EU students can apply for up to three Erasmus Mundus Joint Master Degrees each year. However, a student can benefit only once from an Erasmus Mundus scholarship. In the case that the applicant is selected for more than one EMJMD, he/she must decide which one he/she wants to follow.

Applicants are encouraged to search for external funding as early as possible.

If you are selected (proposed for a scholarship/fellowship, put on the reserve list or enrolled on a self-paying basis) your data may be used for the purposes of evaluating the programmes, efficiently manage the projects, and producing statistics. Data could be made available to the EACEA, the European Commission, the European External Action Service staff, as well as to other stakeholders of the Erasmus+ programme, such as Erasmus+ National Agencies, National Erasmus+ Offices and the Erasmus Mundus Student and Alumni Association.
