Selection and admission to the PlantHealth Master Programme is based on academic merit, following the evaluation criteria explained below:

PlantHealth has a policy of equal opportunities for women, and gender balance will be considered carefully.
80% of the scholarships shall be allocated to the best-evaluated candidates. These 80% of the scholarships shall be evenly distributed among regions whenever the quality of the candidate is guaranteed.
The remaining 20% of scholarships shall be allocated to students with special needs (refugees, disadvantaged situation, handicapped, low income) and shall also be used to promote gender balance if necessary. If these scholarships are not used (because of lack of applicants who give proof of their situation of disadvantage, gender balance achieved without these promotion measures, etc.) these scholarships will be re-allocated to regular applicants, increasing the initial 80% of the scholarships for these candidates.
